    In the workshops, classes, and retreats, you will learn and practice a variety of yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques specifically tailored to address the different phases of the Menopause (pre, peri, and post menopause.)

    The yoga practices are designed to alleviate common symptoms such as hot flashes, fatigue, anxiety, and joint stiffness, while promoting overall well-being.

    Prioritizing a nutrient-rich diet is essential for women as they move through the Menopause. For example, calcium-rich foods help to maintain bone health and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Foods high in phytoestrogens, like soy products, flaxseeds, and legumes, may help with hot flashes and night sweats. Heart-healthy fats, like avocados, nuts, and olive oil, can reduce the risk of heart disease.

  • Remedies for Menopause Symptoms

    There are so many different remedies for the menopause including medicine, hormone replacement therapy, hormone creams, along with natural remedies from plants. When you start to research you will see the breadth of possible solutions out there might want to explore what could work for you. During my workshops, I share the most common ones so that you can best prepare to work with a professional herbalist or doctor to ensure proper care and attention when taking medicines and herbs.

Hello, my name is Vanessa.

I am a Menopause Yoga Coach.

I provide women with practical tools and simple techniques to navigate the Menopause with grace and ease.

My approach combines the wisdom of yoga, good food and mindfulness to support you right now.

  • I studied Menopause Yoga with Petra Coveney, as I was suffering with my own cocktail of confusing symptoms that mimicked burnout and chronic fatigue. Did I mention my burning vagina? And that no doctor would give me HRT because I was still having my period?

    These menopause yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation practices were specifically adapted to help us women positively manage menopause. The yoga helps me to not only cope with the change, but give me a path to follow that is positive and nourishing.

    Fast forward two years, and 3 gynaecologists later, I am feeling well, have a happier vagina, and am sleeping much better.
