Why do I need a health coach?

I had to ask myself this question, because there are so many coaches, trainers, and FREE information out there on health and wellness. So, who needs someone like me?

Well, a health coach is GREAT for someone who doesn’t have time to do the research or find out what works. A health coach can cut through the clutter and offer appropriate recommendations on day one. And… most importantly a health coach keeps you accountable. A health coach will check in on you and see what’s working and what’s not.

7 reasons you want to work with a health coach.

1. You have a chronic health condition:

Health coaches can provide personalized guidance and strategies to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, menopause, or autoimmune disorders.

Why? A health coach can help clients understand their condition, identify healthy lifestyle habits that ease symptoms, set goals, and make sustainable changes to improve their health outcomes.

2. You want to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight:

Health coaches can help you in moving towards weight loss or maintaining weight in a healthy way.

How? We provide nutrition education, develop meal plans, offer accountability and motivation, and help clients overcome obstacles. Most importantly, we help you create a positive relationship with food.

3. You have a specific dietary need:

Health coaches can be super valuable if you follow a specialized diet, such as vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, or a gluten-free diet.

How? They can help you with how to meal plan, how to change a recipe, where to look for hidden ingredients.

4. You seek to live a healthier lifestyle:

Whether you want to improve your fitness level, reduce stress, sleep better, eat well, or establish healthier habits, a health coach has got your back.

How? A health coach helps to set realistic goals, create personalized action plans, and provide accountability and motivation throughout the process.

5. You’ve got a demanding schedule:

These days everyone is struggling to prioritize their health due because life is THAT hectic. We all want to add in healthy habits into our daily routines, manage stress, optimize sleep, and establish work-life balance.

How? A health coach helps to break the change into little changes that are manageable and achievable. So, my clients are always winning!

6. When you need emotional support and stress management:

Health coaches can provide emotional support, stress management techniques, and strategies for improving mental well-being. It is like having a neutral person on your side, helping you take steps forward, and keep things in perspective at the same time.

How? We help you create healthy coping mechanisms, improve resilience, and enhance overall emotional health. Some of the tools we use are yoga, exercise, breathwork, and behavioral change techniques.

Good to know…

It's important to know that health coaches do not replace medical professionals. We work alongside you as a guide to help you achieve your health goals.
